The Garage Sale
Twelve-year-old Forge Graham has enough on his plate between his unemployed, depressed father; his stressed-out mother; his Alzheimer’s suffering Granny, and her monstrous, scruffy cat. When his computer dies and there is no money to replace it he’s sure things can’t get any worse. He realizes he needs to come up with a money-making scheme pronto! Together with his friend Caesar, he cooks up a plan to earn the needed funds by holding a garage sale. With everything organized down to the last detail, the boys are convinced that the money is in the bag but they have failed to consider the effects of Granny, the weather, and the occupant of a mysterious old house on the proceedings.
